Examination System Users

  1. Cordinator Can perform the following tasks:
    • Lecturer Units Allocation
    • Ensure Marks are Captured
    • Process Exams
    • Schedule Units
    • Generate Graduation
    • Process Exams
    • Generate Student Progress Report
    • Generate Course Work to be submitted to KNEC
  2. Lecturers Can perform the following tasks:
    • Capture Students Marks
    • Capture Students Attendance
    • Capture Attachment Marks

Campuscura Examination Module has got two Processing MODE.

Examination Auto Processing Mode

Prerequisite

  1. on the Programmes set the following features to enable auto grading

  2. on the Programmes details Form Click on Syllabus to Navigate to Syllabus Form

  3. Set Year/stage,semester/term, maximum hours and hours per week for a unit or units.

    • Enter MAX HOURS PER TERM on MAX HRS Column and

    • HOURS PER WEEK on HRS/WK Column and

    • the year when the unit will be done on YEAR/STAGE/MODULE Column and

    • Semester or Term when the unit will be done on SEM/TERM Column as shown below

  4. on the Programmes details Form Set other features as shown below

    • # UNITS : number of equivalent units
    • NO CW :Course work. Default settings NO Which means course work available.
    • NO EX : End of Term/Semester Exams. Default settings NO Which means End Of Term/Semester Exams is available.
    • CW OUT OF : If you set NO CW to NO then You MUST CW OUT OF.
    • EX OUT OF : If you set NO EX to NO then You MUST Exams out of

  5. Set Exams OUT OF as shown below

    • CW COMP TYPE : Course Work Computation Type .Default settings AVERAGE Meaning the CW1,CW2 and CW3 will be AVERAGED
      Other CW COMP TYPE : is WEIGHTED Meaning the CW1,CW2 and CW3 carry some weight
    • CW1 ASSESSMENT TYPE :Default settings Assignment
      You can select other ASSESSMENT TPYES like CAT or Practical

    • Units Combining Screen
    • click onStep 1 and a pop up form will appear to Help you select A unit to combine with
    • On Step 2 Enter the RATIO between 0 and 1
    • On Step 3 Enter the New Unit Name and New Unit Code
      Note : New Unit Name and New Unit Code must also be Course Units pool
    • then Combine as shown below


Print Exam sign sheet

    • To Print Exam sign sheet follow the steps 1 to 4 as shown below. Step 4 is Cickable.
      Then continue as shown on the pop up guide when you clicked STEP 4
